5th grade students will be responsible for three EOG assessments at the end of the school year: ELA, Mathematics, and Science. The attached resources are released EOG assessments previously given to students in past years. These released items can be used to assist students in practice and preparation for their end of grade assessments. In order to pass the EOG, students need to receive a score of 3. Scores of 4 or 5 are considered 'college and career ready'.

mClass.BOY benchmark - S
MOY benchmark - T EOY benchmark - U
|
mClass is an assessment given three times a year, beginning (BOY), middle (MOY), and end (EOY). At each of these assessments, students will be tested on their fluency (rate/speed of words read in a minute), accuracy (percentage of correct words), as well as their TRC reading level found through comprehension questions. The following are the benchmarks (expected reading level) for each time of the year. Attached is a list of mclass question stems to help students with their written comprehension. Please focus on your child's current reading level and the expected reading levels in 5th grade by asking your students these questions orally or practicing the writing.
